Lobbies Open June 7
Thank you for your flexibility as we have worked within CDC guidelines to do our best to minimize risk for TVEC members and vital employees. Now that vaccines are readily available and guidelines allow, we are planning to open the lobbies of all four TVEC locations starting June 7.
With the downtime, we have been able to renovate some locations and add dividers for additional safety.
We look forward to seeing you again!
Electrical Safety Month
We love electricity and all of the wonderful ways it makes life better. But there is always a need to think safety about your power. May is electrical safety month, so there is no better time to look through your home or office electrical system for any points of concern. There are a lot of good safety resources and checklists on the Electrical Safety Foundation website.
Texas Co-op Power
Congratulations to D.R. Laney, of Wills Point, for correctly identifying the Rose Monument in Wills Point—the TVEC Hot Spot in April’s Texas Co-op Power magazine. Check out the May magazine for another chance to win a $100 bill credit and see how well you know the TVEC service area! You will also find lots of other co-op information, pictures, energy efficiency tips and more.
You can also win a $100 bill credit if you find your account number hidden in the TVEC local pages in the center of the magazine. Two ways you may already be a winner!
It is more wet weather for the week ahead. TVEC crews have been working hard to restore power where lightning or trees have caused outages. I expect more trees to come down with saturated soil and high winds possible as these storms pop up and move through.
