Get your crayons ready — it’s time to Plug Into Safety with Trinity Valley Electric Cooperative’s 2025 Electrical Safety Coloring Contest!

This fun kids coloring contest is about learning electrical safety while sparking your creativity.

📅 Contest Dates

  • Opening Day: Thursday, May 1, 2025
  • Final Day to Submit: Friday, May 23, 2025

👧🧒 Who Can Enter

The contest is open to children 12 years old and under.
(One entry per child, please!)

Age groups are divided into three “lineworker” ranks:

  • Apprentice Lineman – Ages 5 and under
  • First Class Lineman – Ages 6–9
  • Journeyman Lineman – Ages 10–12

❇️ Most Creativity Sparked

One winner from each office will be selected as the “Most Creativity Sparked” winner. This will include all contestants (ages 12 and under).

✏️ How to Enter

Getting started is easy!

  • Download a coloring sheet or pick one up at any TVEC office.
  • Complete the artwork and turn it in at a TVEC office during normal business hours.
  • Important: Be sure to fill out the contact information on the back of the sheet so we can notify winners!

(Digital entries via email or social media will not be accepted.)

🏆 Coloring Gift Baskets

Each TVEC office will select one winner from each age group.
Winners will receive a shockingly awesome gift basket packed with:

  • Art supplies 🎨
  • Safety tips from TVEC ⚡
  • Cool goodies to inspire future masterpieces!

Winners will be contacted after the contest ends with instructions on how to claim their prize.

🛑 Important Rules & Guidelines

  • Children should complete the artwork themselves if possible. Groups will be evaluated with age-appropriate expectations.
  • Acceptable Materials: Crayons, colored pencils, markers, and paints are allowed.
  • Artwork Return: No entries will be returned. We encourage you to take a photo or make a copy of the completed artwork before turning it in.
  • Display: Artwork will be proudly displayed in TVEC office lobbies throughout the month of June.

📋 Judging Criteria

Entries will be judged based on:

  • Creativity
  • Concept & vision
  • Age-appropriate coloring skills and artistic effort

Winners will be chosen by a TVEC employee group.
