Howard Tillison is a lifelong resident of Henderson County and has been a co-op member for over 25 years.

Howard has earned the Director Gold Credential, the highest director certification from the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association.

Howard is a retired business owner with extensive service, sales and manufacturing experience.

“I hope that having more than 25 years of working directly with customers in business serves me well in being part of the TVEC board,” Howard said. “The electric supply grid is the most complicated business or machine in the world. It touches almost every home in America, and right now it is in a rapid state of change. We work hard to stay ahead of the technical, regulatory and political changes that happen on a daily basis.”

Howard and his wife Nelda have been married for over 50 years. They have two children, Mark and Stacie.
