East Texas Rural Electric Youth Seminar
While at ETREYS students participate in workshops, seminars, and peer group activities that range from leadership development to pure entertainment. Speakers from all walks of life including nationally-known personalities, athletes, and professional leaders take part in the daily sessions. Established in 1988, the mission of ETREYS is to foster positive ideas and values among young people and to enhance skills in leadership, problem-solving and interpersonal relationships.
High School Scholarships
TVEC is proud to invest in the next generation by providing scholarship opportunities for students pursuing college, university or trade school. TVEC High School Scholarships are funded through unclaimed capital credits and support graduating seniors throughout the cooperative’s service area. Additional opportunities are available through the Texas Rural Electric Women’s Association (TREWA), which offers scholarships to qualifying electric cooperative members and their families across Texas. Together, these programs help students take the next step toward their educational and career goals.
