Here when you call. When you click. When you walk in. Member service looks different today than it did when TVEC was founded, but the heart behind it has not changed. Some members want to talk with a real person at one of our offices. Others prefer to handle everything online. Many want both options depending on the day.
Here. For You. means meeting members where they are. Tony Watson, Chief Operating Officer and Assistant General Manager, is the first feature in our new Here. For You. article series in Texas Co-op Power. With 42 years of service to TVEC, Tony’s story is one of persistence, learning, and dedication to members. From his early days on line crews to leadership roles in substations and engineering, Tony has always focused on doing what is best for the people we serve. As he prepares for retirement in 2026, Tony reminds us that the heart of the cooperative is still people serving people.
Member Service Minute is our new monthly feature in Texas Co-op Power that highlights the people who serve you at TVEC. The first edition introduces Linda Hinson, a 20-year veteran of Member Services who loves helping members every day, and you can find her responses in this month’s magazine on page 20.
