12:30 p.m. – This outage has been restored. It was caused by a tree falling into the lines. 10:40 a.m. – TVEC crews are responding to a large outage affecting more than 1700 members in the Frankston area. Any updates regarding this outage will be made as

5:30 p.m. – his outage was restored. Crews found a tree limb had fallen onto the line. 4:15 p.m. – TVEC crews are working to determine the cause of an outage southeast of Athens, along and south of Hwy 175, an area that experienced an outage earlier

11:40 a.m. – This outage has been restored. 11:10 a.m. – TVEC crews are responding to a large outage affecting about 700 members southeast of Athens, along Hwy 175 and southward toward Hwy. 19. Any updates regarding this outage will be made as edits to this post.

Outage Update: The large outage was the result of lines contacting each other while the circuit was on enhanced safety settings for work happening in the area. Three small outages affecting about 200 members is still active in the area and crews are working to restore power

Update 1:55 p.m. – This outage has been restored. Noon – An outage affecting the area around Cedar Creek Country Club between Mabank and Kemp will be without power for a few more hours as crews repair damage from a lightning strike. Crews expect restoration between 2-3
